Let Him In

All things work together for our good because we love the Lord and are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We should not try to figure things out by our own understanding… we were not created to even begin to try and God does not expect us to, that is why Jeremiah said “O Lord, I am conscious that a man's way is not in himself: man has no power of guiding his steps.”Jer 10:23.

God wants us to trust Him with everything going on with us at every point in time, He wants to be in on everything we do, every plan we make, every thought we have, every way we feel and that is why one wise man encouraged us to “Put all our hope in God, not looking to our reason for support. In all our ways give ear to Him, and He will make straight our footsteps.” Prov 3:5-6.

When we become aware of Is 30:21 where God tells us that at our backs, when we are turning to the right hand or to the left, a voice will be sounding in our ears, saying, This is the way in which we are to go then we will not find ourselves in positions where we are utterly confused.. .because God would have already shown us the way to go.

We might have made decisions in the past without inquiring of God first and reaped horrific results, well He has made provisions for us because He loves us, though we fall, we shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds us with His hand. Ps 37:24

I hope we make conscious efforts to let God in on every single detail in our lives, because then like David, we will never loose a single battle because we have God telling us which battles are worth fighting and how to go about winning the battles that should be fought.
