Using Our Experiences to Glorify God
A good friend of mine and me are at it once again. We’ve shared experiences, concerns, sorrows, joys, testimonies, the word of God, name it, we’ve shared. We’ve talked about most things, but until today we both discovered that there was an area we both didn’t want to talk about.
How did we get to the point where we decided to share? I believe God orchestrated the whole event because one topic led to another and there we were pouring out our hearts concerning a period in our lives we both were ashamed of, who would have known… they were quite identical!
I realized I wasn’t the only one who felt a certain way, who lived in guilt, whom God delivered and who will use my testimony to set other people free. I have a burden, we both do and God will use our testimony to release from bondage those who sit in darkness.
I believe it is a slap on the devils face because we have overcome him by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev 12:11). What he made us feel guilt for, what he held us in bondage for, what he made us try to keep a secret because we were ashamed that if people found out, will be disgraceful to say the least; we are putting on center stage to the glory of God!
We no longer feel shame, we feel love, the love God has so generously and relentlessly bestowed on us, we do not condemn ourselves because there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. We do not live in fear because God has not given us a spirit of fear. We do not live in regret because we are assured that all things will work together for our good.
We have been made righteous by the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus, whom we profess as our Lord and Savior. We will share our testimony and God will use us for His utmost glory
Alas we can boldly say, what the devil meant for bad, God meant for good.
I am deeply moved at the mercies of the God. Who is like unto Him, among the gods who is like Him? Glorious in holiness and fearful in praises, always doing wonders Halleluiah.
We do serve an awesome God!
